Finishing off

      The only thing I'm missing to finish of is the Creative Critical Reflection. For this part of the project I think I'm just going to take a video of myself talking about the video and all the aspects and steps I took towards this project. I also plan on answering all the question required. I want to take a video of myself because I think it's more simple and easier to do so. For this part of the project I'm just going to write down the main points of what I want to talk about it and look at it and just let my mind run and talk. By this I mean that I just want to see the main point and talk freely about that point instead of having a specific script.
      I feel that if I have a script I'm going to feel like a robot and focus too much on what I'm saying, if I don't have a script I just let my mind run and talk about how I feel about the subject. Although I can't let my mind go on too much considering there is a time limit on the Critical Reflection. But I still want to talk freely so I'm just gonna write about the main ideas I want to talk about and then talk. I'm going to write everything and film myself on Saturday and get the project done by before Sunday because Sunday I'm going on vacation and the project is due before Tuesday.
      So the only things that I'm missing is editing all the videos together which won't take more than 1 to 2 hours and the Creative Critical Reflection. I don't really have an idea of how long the Refection is going to take because since I'm filming myself continuously for at least 5 minutes I'm going to have to do so without messing up or anything. Besides that I'm glad that I'm near the end.

Finish Filming

      Today I finally finished filming all the parts. Today's part was really simple it was just one take of my brother on the phone being worried about me. It only took like 3 tries to get it right but I'm glad that I'm done with this whole project. The filming in my opinion was kind of had because no one was the best actors so it took a couple tries every time. And considering that it's at night the fact that it took a couple tries isn't good because at night you have a limited amount of time before it gets too late, that's what happened the first day, but at least this part was short and only took no more than 10 minutes. I'm so glad to be done with filming now I just need to finish editing everything all together.
   
      To this moment I hadn't picked a title for my movie but I decided the title would be "The Silent Murder". I feel like this title fits with the movie because in the movie you never witness who does the actual killing so he is "silent". I wanted to make it The Silent Killer but silent killer is another name for a fart and it doesn't sound very professional, and also it is already a name of a movie and it wouldn't be original. I wanted to wait till the end of filming to pick the name just in case I changed path. It's pretty hard picking a name for the movie because it has to represent the whole movie and has to summarize or relate to the movie, but I'm glad with the name I picked.

Continue filming

      Today I continued filing the project. We finished late because we had to wait for night to come and that is usually at about 8 o'clock right now. So after waiting for the night to come we continued filming where we left off. I asked my brother to help us film again because I am one of the characters in the film. We had him holding the camera filming while holding a flashlight because we needed the light. We would've left the flashlight in one place while we film but the parts we were doing required movement so the flashlight needed to shine on the characters.
 
       We are still missing my brothers part of the film. His part is easier to film though because his part is just a conversation between me and him but he's in his room alone. So for his part I have to close the blinds and it will look like night. I'm still going to film at night just so no light goes through but still. His part is just going to be one continuous shot of him talking with me.I am going to edit my part of the conversation in between his so we show a conversation going on between us. Besides his part I am done with filming.

Filming again

     Yesterday we began to film and it went way better than last time. The lighting was better than last time and everything went to script, although we didn't finish. We didn't finish so now we're going to have to film another day at night, I think the best day is going to be on Wednesday but I am not sure I'm going to have to ask my friend when it's best for him. But the filming went better than last time.


Here is the alley in which one of the teenage boys dies, its in between two houses and it is quite dark as you can see to make things more scary. The boy walks in here and later dies for an unknown cause
it creates fear. Before when one of the teenage boys went in there the light was too dark but adding flashlights helped.



Here you can see how I used a flashlight to help with the lighting. This flashlight is really powerful so I had to put it at some distance from the person. But this actually helped a lot with the production and it got me further in the filming. Now I'm just missing a couple more scenes and I'll be done.
